Real Raspberry Applesauce Gelatin

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup 100% fruit juice or water
  • 1 Tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder grass fed preferred- I like this brand
  • 1/4 cup warm water or more juice
  • 1 package 10 ounces frozen raspberries (thawed with juice)
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl sprinkle the gelatin powder over the fruit juice (or water) and let sit for a couple of minutes to thicken.
  2. Add the warm water (or juice) to the gelatin and mix to dissolve the gelatin.
  3. In a large bowl add the thawed raspberries with the juice and the applesauce.
  4. Mix in the dissolved gelatin and stir to combined.
  5. Keep the gelatin in the bowl or divide them out into jars. I like putting the mixture into 4 oz jars so a quick and easy snack size portion.
  6. Let firm up in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
