Coconut Chips, Three Ways

Ingredients

  • 3 cups coconut chips unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil

Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

Cocoa Maca

  • 2 teaspoons raw cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder
  • pinch sea salt

Turmeric Spice

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper more or less depending how spicy you like it

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl add the coconut chips (3 cups).
  2. Coat the coconut chips in 1/2 teaspoon coconut oil.
  3. Pick your spice mix and toss to coat.
  4. Spread out on a lined sheet pan.
  5. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 5-7 minutes, keeping a close eye out as they can burn quickly.
  6. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
