Avocado Margarita: Trust Me it’s Good!
I would have never thought in a million years to add avocado to a margarita. But why not? Avocados…good. Margaritas…good. Put them together…good. If you are ever looking to make a margarita a little bit healthier and more nutritious then this is your answer. I have seen margaritas in every fruit flavor under the sun so why not avocado…they are fruits too after all.
They are a truly unique fruit packing healthy mono-unsaturated fats (instead of mostly carbohydrates like typical fruit). One serving of avocado also contains roughly 7 grams of fiber which can help reduce blood sugar spikes. As we know margaritas usually contain some form of sweetener. How super(food) is that?
For me the addition of avocado here makes the margarita wonderfully creamy and helped balanced out the sweetness well. Why not have your avocado and drink a margarita too?
This avocado margarita may provide some added nutrients but remember to drink in moderation. Please drink responsibly!
