Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Hummus
I realize that I am not the inventor of the concept of making a hummus that tastes like cookie dough. I really wish I was though. I felt the need to post this recipe because of how delicious it is and how much it does take like raw cookie dough. I still meet people all the time that have never heard of this hummus. This recipe is a great way to trick your taste buds into thinking you ate some cookie dough. My husband even likes this hummus.
Traditional cookie cough has no real nutritional value and is loaded with sugar, white flour, fat, and did I mention sugar? My “cookie dough” has protein, fiber, and very little fat. Not to mention this is a gluten free friendly food. You can switch up this recipe in many different ways…add cocoa powder, change up the chocolate chips for raisins, omit the oats or add nuts.
Serve this Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough at a party with sliced fruit, whole grain graham crackers, or Jovial Organic Crispy Cocoa cookies. It makes a great snack or even dessert.
