Orange Thyme Marinated Olives
When it comes to gifts I always love to give something from the heart. For me, that usually means a homemade treat! You don’t have to spend a lot of time or money on them but it is the thought that counts. You have a lot of people in your day to day life that make a difference such as co-workers, teachers, hairdressers, delivery people, or mail workers. Why not give them a special thank you? These Orange Thyme Marinated Olives are the perfect combination of simple and special to make someone’s day better. Present them in a small jar with a ribbon and done!
These olives were inspired by an appetizer that we ordered on our last vacation to Florida. It was a really cool restaurant that was off the beaten path. The happy hour menu was fantastic but what was interesting was how they priced their happy hour drink menu. They give you a dice and based on what you roll is how much you spend on your cocktail. It was a fun idea at first until we kept having to pay full price because our rolls were very unlucky. But I will always remember the food and the Orange Thyme Marinated Olives! Not only would these made a great simple yet delicious gift but they are great to set out at parties for your guests to nibble on when they get hungry. Olives are a source of health fats and make for a healthy snack option.
If you need some additional last minute DIY gift ideas then I have you covered. Here are some of my favorites that are always a hit…
